Art Night: Make the Summer Reading Program Decorations, Part 2

6:00pm - 8:00pm

The Library needs crafty and creative kids aged 6 & up to help us create  the decorations for our popular summer reading program. The Children's Department gets hundreds of visitors during the summer months, so we like to highlight the reading program theme by making the room look fabulous! This summer's theme is "Libraries Rock" and it's all about music! There will be lots of fun 3D artwork to make: ff you like to paint, build, do paper mache, collage, glue & more, this program is for you - come help us!

Happy Hour Book Club discusses "A fatal grace" by Louise Penny

6:45pm - 7:55pm

CC de Poitiers managed to alienate everyone in the hamlet of Three Pines, right up to the moment she died. When Chief Inspector Armand Gamache begins his investigation, it seems like an impossible murder: CC was electrocuted on a frozen lake, in front of the entire town, during the annual curling tournament. With compassion and courage, Gamache digs beneath the idyllic surface of village life to find long buried secrets, while his own enemies threaten to bring something even more chilling than the bitter winter winds to Three Pines.
