Trick or Treat the Library!

9:00am - 8:00pm

  Come to the Library in costume on Wednesday, October 31st and trick-or-treat the staff for a special treat!

 

Story-and-Play for 2-3 year olds

This fall's storytime theme is “All About Families”, a six-week session about all parents, siblings, grandparents, even pets!

The 45 minute storytime includes 15 minutes for free play, 15 minutes of stories, fingerplays & songs, and 15 minutes of craft and snacktime.

Landscape Art: Italy Display

View "Landscape Art: Italy" as painted and presented by Przemek (Sam) Dobrski.  Sam's artwork will be on display throughout the month of November in the lobby display case and is viewable during normal library hours.

Gratitude Jars

1:30pm - 3:00pm

Drop in on this early release day from school to make a pretty, easy craft about the true meaning of Thanksgiving. Decorate a jar in colors of the season, then bring home special slips of paper and fill one out every day from now until Thanksgiving with something you feel grateful for, and then share your your collection at Thanksgiving dinner! Or, bring home your jar & slips and have everyone at the Thanksgiving dinner table contribute something their grateful for into the jar.

Ready-To-Read Storytime for 5 - 8 year olds

4:00pm

Children who have entered grade school journey towards being readers, but they still love listening to stories! This program is designed to support your emergent reader by sharing a sample of stories & series that are geared toward various levels of early readers, & get them excited to use their new reading skills on the sequels later. Stories are followed by a craft, and we finish up the 60 minute session with a snack.

Registration required; please note that when you register, you are signing up for the entire six-week session.
