Unite for an afternoon of broad-spectrum fandom! Each week will have a different theme - anime, Pokemon, Steven Universe, Star Wars, cosplay, superheroes, & more - discuss, play, watch, and geek out! Please click below for more information and to register.
3:30pm - 5:30pm
This training session is for kids who have applied to be summer volunteers. Summer volunteers must be 11 years old or going into 6th grade in fall. All volunteers must attend one training session, unless they have been volunteering at the library during the school year. The training session will last about 2 hours.
If you haven't turned in an application yet, you must do so before this training session. You can get one from the Children's Department, or download it (below). Fill it out, get it signed by a parent or guardian, and return it to the Children’s Department (NOT the Circulation Desk, please!), so that we can sign you up for a time to work.
You must also read The Spiel (training & orientation material for volunteers) before you attend your training session. If you haven't received one yet, you can download it or pick it up from the Children's Department.
5:00pm - 7:45pm
