This program is designed to support your emergent reader by sharing a sample of stories & series that are geared toward various levels of early readers, & get them excited to use their new reading skills on the sequels later!

Storytime for 3 - 5 year olds on Monday mornings

Monday morning storytime!

This fall’s storytime theme is “All About Autumn," a six-week session about pumpkins, apples, Halloween, leaves, and more.

Each storytime includes about 30 minutes of stories, finger-plays, songs and games related to that week’s theme, followed by a craft project and a snack; the total storytime runs approximately 60 minutes.

For kids who like to draw manga & more!

Drop-in with your sketch pad, grab one of the teen section’s comfy chairs, draw anything you want including manga, comics, western, & etc., work on a group story, and/or share your art (if you want) with fellow art maniacs! For middle & high schoolers

If you have a little one who loves music, this program is for you! Join us for a half-hour of adult-and-child singing, clapping, and stomping along to favorite kids’ songs, with occasional musical instruments or accompanying books thrown in! No need to register, just drop in!

NaNoWriMo: Write A Novel in a Month!

6:00pm - 8:00pm

Based on National Novel Writing Month ("NaNoWriMo"), this four week workshop will help aspiring writers to either write a novel in a month, or achieve whatever writing goal they set for themselves!

Join us for an hour of trading, dueling, & learning under the guidance of experienced teen volunteers who will give a mini-lesson on Pokemon each session to teach about cards and how to play, and then watch over trading for fairness.
