Learn to Avoid Becoming a Crime or Scam Victim

Description:

The Office of Hampden District Attorney Anthony Gulluni will be presenting a program on how to avoid scams.  Assistant District Attorney Joan O’Brien will provide practical information and tips on how you can protect yourself from telephone, mail, internet, door-to-door and other scam tactics.  She will also share information regarding how scammers are becoming more sophisticated in their approach to taking your money. 

A Victim/Witness Advocate will speak regarding victims’ rights and how an advocate assists crime victims through the criminal justice system.

3-D & Robotics Makerspace program

Time: 10:30am - 12:30pm

Description:

See, learn about, and use some of the coolest new tech out there, like a 3D printer, a CNC milling/carving machine,   Ozobots, Little Bits Electronics, & a bunch of other cool stuff. Participants will learn how to use the TinkerCAD & possibly Easel programs. Optional (but helpful): bring your laptop if you have one, so you can learn on your own device (no software needs to be installed to play with the programs introduced in the workshop).

Sing With Me! Music Program for Preschoolers & Their Grown-ups

Description:

If you have a little one who loves music, this program is for you! Join us for a half-hour of adult-&-child singing, clapping, and stomping along to favorite kids’ songs, with occasional musical instruments or accompanying books thrown in! No need to register, just drop in! Please note that adult participation is expected for this program - and it's fun!
