Children who have entered grade school start their own journeys towards being readers, but they still love listening to stories! This program is designed to support your emergent reader by sharing a sample of stories & series that are geared toward various levels of early readers, & get them excited to use their new reading skills on the sequels later! Stories are followed by a craft, and we finish up the 60 minute session with a snack!

The summer story time series features things from your child's favorite songs, including twinkling stars, itsy bitsy spiders, & more! Each program includes about 30 minutes of stories, finger-plays, songs and games related to that week’s theme, followed by a craft project and a snack; the total storytime runs approximately 60 minutes.
Please note that when you register, you are signing your child up for the entire 6 week session.

Drop-In Rock Painting

We are growing a very special garden this summer to celebrate our "Library's Rock!" summer reading program theme - a painted rock garden! Drop by any Monday afternoon during the summer months to paint a rock, then join us on 8/14 for a Garden Party to celebrate the instillation of the rock garden on the library's front lawn!
Celebrate SHARK WEEK with a fun night of Bingo! Shark trivia questions will range from super-easy for the little ones to stumpers for the experts.
