THE SUMMER VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

Description:
The Library needs volunteers aged 11 & up (or going into 6th grade in the fall) during the summer to put away books, help prepare arts & crafts projects, & assist with the younger kids’ programs. Volunteers generally work one hour a week. If you are interested, pick up an application form & return it to the Children’s Department (NOT the Circulation Desk, please!) by the last week in June.
All volunteers must attend a training session, unless they have been volunteering at the Library during the school year. Training sessions last about 2 hours. Please sign up for one when you return your signed volunteer form!
