Volunteer for us!

The Library is accepting applications for summertime young adult volunteers. Volunteers put away books in the Children’s Department, help prepare arts and crafts projects, and assist the Children’s Department staff with clerical tasks. Applicants must be going into 6th grade or older. Volunteers generally work one hour a week. Applications are available in the Children’s Department.

This free party is open to everyone who participated in the summer reading program or who participated in any of the Children’s Department events. A great community party! You will recieve free tickets when you finish the rading program or you can pick them up in the Children’s Department anytime in August.

Drop-in with your sketch pad, grab one of the teen section’s comfy chairs, draw anything you want including manga, comics, western, & etc., work on a group story, and/or share your art (if you want) with fellow art maniacs! 3D & Robotics Makerspace Madness!

5:30pm - 7:30pm

See, learn about, and play with some of the cool new tech the library has added to our collection, including Ozobots, Little Bits Electronics, Spheros, Bloxels & more, make something cool with a 3D printer, and play with virutal reality gear!
