Volunteer for us!

The Library is accepting applications for summertime young adult volunteers. Volunteers put away books in the Children’s Department, help prepare arts and crafts projects, and assist the Children’s Department staff with clerical tasks. Applicants must be going into 6th grade or older. Volunteers generally work one hour a week. Applications are available in the Children’s Department.

Living away from home or just feeding yourself after school? Learn how to make a couple classics, quick, easy and healthier in the microwave. We will also make an easy, delicious and healthier cookie in the toaster oven.

Beginner Ukelele Class!


Learn Ukulele! Use one of the instructor’s ukuleles or bring in your own for a simple lesson of fundamentals followed by a strum-along of fun easy songs.  This grant-funded class is provided free to you by the Ludlow Cultural Council.  Class size is limited, please click below to register.

Retired Fish & Wildlife Game Warden Tom Ricardi will visit the library w/live owls,  hawks &/or eagles to share the natural history of these magnificent birds, demonstrate some of their unique behaviors and inspire appreciation, respect and conservation of these important residents of the Connecticut River Watershed.
