Book & Craft Pairing: Books about Color with 3D Hot Air Balloons

Pick up a book, & get a complete take-home craft kit!

The Hubbard Library Youth Room is offering a monthly book and craft pairing program; check out a book about our theme of the month, and take home everything you need to make an accompanying craft!

This month we're making magical wildflower gardens, paired with books about spring and gardens!

After we receive your registration, we will send you a list of available books about the theme. Write back with your selection (or let us know your child's age and ask for a book bundle - 7-10 books on the theme already packaged up by age level) and when you pick your selection up from our curbside delivery service, you'll also get a kit that contains everything you need to make this lovely craft! If you need enough for multiple children, just let us know!

Please click below to register. Call (413)583-3408 x2 to schedule your curbside delivery appointment.

11:00am - 11:30am

Monday morning storytime!

Meet Youth Services librarian July each Monday morning on the library lawn when weather allows or virtually if not for 30 minutes of funny, informative, engaging stories, finger-plays, songs and games!

This is a hybrid program: it will take place on the library lawn with equipment set up so that those who wish to remain at home can still participate virtually. In the event of bad weather, the program will happen only via Zoom ; weather-related announcements will be made on our Facebook page the morning of the program & emailed to registrants.  For in-person outdoor programs, masks that remain over the nose and mouth for the entirety of the program are required for everyone aged 24 months and up, and 6' of distance must be maintained between families.

We have 10 haybales to sit on, feel free to bring your own blankets &/or camp chairs!

For safety reasons, registration is required. If the program is happening virtually, please note that REGISTRATION CLOSES 15 MINUTES BEFORE THE PROGRAM BEGINS. Once you've registered, you are signed up for all the storytimes through mid-June will receive an email each week with the theme and Zoom link.

No storytime on 4/19 or 5/31.
