Outdoor Grow, Play & Learn for 18-36 month olds

9:30am - 10:00am

Come join us for stories, songs and skill building led by a Early Childhood Developmental trained leaders who will introduce preliteracy curriculum in a fun, playful environment. Program includes support for caregivers, "Ages and Stages" questionnaire, and resources to fit your child’s individual needs.

This program will take place on the library lawn; if the weather is bad we will switch to a virtual format. Sponsored by  for Parents CFCE.

Outdoor Fridays!

10:00am - 12:00pm

Every Friday in July & August we'll set up our tent, bring out a big selection of books for all ages, and do check outs right on the library lawn! Rain or shine (except when there's lightning).

Town-Wide Olympic Scavenger Hunt


Start at the library, and travel around town to Ludlow’s landmarks while learning trivia about the summer olympics. Return to the library at the end to check out books and get your prize for completing your Olympic Search of Ludlow. For children of all ages. No registration needed.


VIRTUAL CLUB: Mega Roblox Club for 8+

3:00pm - 5:00pm

Meet new friends or bring old ones as you chat on Zoom while playing Roblox!

3:30pm - 4:30pm

Music instructor & band leader Rick Marshall will teach students rudimentary rhythms, sticking combinations, beats, & self-expression through percussion on 5 gallon buckets!

Hybrid program: Sing With Me!

10:30am - 11:00am

Join Youth Services Librarian July on the library lawn (or via Zoom if it's raining) for 30 minutes of favorite children's songs & movement! A virtual option will also be available during outdoor programs. Please note: the library requires all participants during outdoor programs for youth to wear masks that remain over the nose and mouth for the entirety of the program, and for family groups to keep 6' distance between each other.
